Job overview
North West Community Campus are looking to appoint an individual with a keen interest in nurturing approaches across the school. The individual will have experience in facilitating a range of nurturing experiences for learners, and be able to support staff in further developing this in their classroom practice.
This is a temporary, full time position until June 2019. This position may be suitable for a secondment. Permission must be sought from your line manager before applying.
Applicants for teaching posts must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland, Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT in the appropriate sector.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Applicants who have been resident outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check, will be required to provide a completed police record check from the police authority in the country or countries in which they were resident.
