Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee School is an all-age special school meeting the needs of children and young people with severe, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) as well as complex medical needs. We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking teacher, with experience of working with this population, to join our enthusiastic and highly effective team. We are a well-resourced school with excellent facilities and the Federation Training and Outreach team and Training Centre is based within the same building.  


Working in a team, you will be expected to demonstrate the following: 

• Experience of working with children with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and severe learning difficulties (SLD)

• Ability to contribute significantly to curriculum development activities in the department and across the school

• Qualified Teacher Status and/ or NQT

• Able to work closely with multi-agency staff and a drive to develop new ideas and practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

• Be adaptable

• A willingness to be part of a learning community

ABOUT QUEEN ELIZABETH II JUBILEE SCHOOOL (QEII)

QEII School is a special school for pupils aged between 4 – 19 years, with severe learning difficulties and profound and multiple learning difficulties. It is part of Federation of Westminster Special Schools Training and Outreach.

We offer our pupils a positive and supportive learning environment within which we deliver the best possible education to meet their individual learning needs.We work hard to ensure that all our children feel positive about themselves and their learning, and consequently acquire a high level of self-esteem.

We recognise the special importance of school life for every child, and their family, and we encourage working in partnership with families to ensure both a productive and happy experience for all concerned.
