Job overview

Responsibilities:

To deliver bespoke learning for students, either on a one-to-one basis, or within small group situations;

To assess students development, status and to help setting a plan of psychological work with students;

To help teenagers during the challenging period of their development;

To support students to enhance learning during all lessons and/or activities;

To support the teacher in managing students’ behavioural conduct by promoting positive attitude;

To collaborate with teachers and assist in the planning and resourcing of lessons for students needed in additional support;

To actively implement differentiated learning methodologies within the classroom;

To evaluate and record student progress;

To foster learning, address school-related problems and promote a safe educational environment;

To evaluate a student's special needs and accommodate them accordingly;

To carry out administrative tasks;

To participate in school activities & events;

To supervise students during rest breaks and at determined periods before/after school;

To actively attend and participate in all staff meetings and In School Coaching.

Requirements:

University degree in related studies, degree in psychology is desirable;

3+ years’ work experience in an international environment;

Previous experience working at international educational establishment or strong knowledge of international/IB education system/educational psychology is desirable;

Fluency in English is a must;

Student-centred approach in teaching;

Experience in working with different age students (in group and individually), dealing with emotional and behavioural individuals

Open-minded and a life-learner;

Excellent organisational and time management skills;

High sense of responsibility & flexibility;

Proficiency in computer literacy;

Adaptable and flexible to the requirements of the school;
