General Duties
Responsibility to carry out the list of duties contained in Part 2, Section 2 of the National Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teachers and Associated Professionals.
Teaching Duties
To teach pupils as directed. This includes:
- Preparing lessons and programmes for all pupils.
- Assessing, recording and reporting of the work of pupils.
- Making use of a range of teaching methodologies and resources.
Other Duties
To contribute to the formulation of the school improvement plan.
To promote and maintain good order and discipline among pupils.
To report and discuss pupil progress
The successful candidate may be asked to teach pupils from any stage P1 – P7 and to undertake other duties. The necessity for any change will be determined by the head teacher.
