Specific Selection Criteria 

Approval to teach Science, Biology and Earth and Environmental Science. Willingness to teach Chemistry and Physics, including Investigating Science.  

Proven ability to engage in data-driven and reflective practices that demonstrate student growth and lead to strong student performance in science.

Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships that empower student agency, and build the development of Working Scientifically skills for students to achieve their goals in science. 

Collaboratively develop teaching and learning initiatives to enthuse and empower students’ understanding of science through the use of current resources, including research and technology-based pedagogies.

Capacity to work as part of a whole school community to achieve the school’s targets and deliver the initiatives in the Strategic Directions.

  
Conditions 

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
