Tes is currently supporting a friendly and supportive School, based in Hillingdon. The school is looking to add an experienced Teacher to its progressive and supportive school ideally starting ASAP.

The role will include teaching and coordinating the delivery of SEN provision for the school's classes. You will support the Head of School to enhance provision and will get the chance to get involved with exciting project work throughout the year. Project work will include revising schemes of work and ensuring the curriculum is engaging to all learners alongside projects that support student attainment, well-being and engagement within the wider school. You’ll also lead by example, supporting learners to achieve to the best of their ability and you’ll enjoy that great feeling when your learners achieve grades beyond their dreams.

"This school provides specialist education for 185 pupils, aged between 3.5 and 19. Located across two sites. Their Primary School supports around c55 students. Their students are taught in smaller class sizes and all students work towards a variety of qualifications dependent on their needs and ability.

Quality is always top of their agenda and they pride themselves on the quality of what they do. They are looking for a Teacher, experienced in teaching Special Educational Needs children who share their vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN/ASC environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important."

• support package for NQT’s/ECT’s including CPD and NQT mentorship

The school expects:

• A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• a relevant SEN or Education Degree or a related subject

• experience in delivering SEN primary education, successfully engaging learners to progress

• a love and passion for education.
