The successful applicants will be able to clearly demonstrate:
- An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
- Expertise as a classroom practitioner and passion for delivering high quality lessons
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience
- Ability to use technology to inform learning
- A sound understanding of contemporary research in educational practice
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Interested candidates should submit a one page application which addresses the following criteria:
- Up to date knowledge of NESA requirements for all stage 4, 5 and 6 courses in English
- Ability to contribute to the further development of a self-reviewing and self-improving school school culture
- Ability and experience in teaching Senior English or a combination of Senior English, RE or HSIE
- Experience and willingness to collaborate and contribute to dynamic learning teams committed to improving learning growth of all students
- Ability to use and engage in data to inform teaching and learning plans to improve student learning
