Teacher, Seton College Mt Gravatt

The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  
   

Seton College has a position in 2019 for a qualified teacher,  with a combination of two or more of the following teaching areas: - 

Support Teacher Inclusive Education - Drama - Visual Art - English - Mathematics - Digital Technologies.

Some Pastoral and Curriculum Middle Leader positions may also be available, and applicants are invited to express interest in such a position. Applicants with qualifications and experience in implementing adjustments in the classroom to support students with disability/individual learning needs and primary school teachers are encouraged to apply for this position.
 

Seton College is a Catholic secondary school, situated in Mt Gravatt East with an enrolment of 330 students.  We offer families a co-educational pathway to life-long learning based on Christian values. In a very special way, we at Seton College seek to help all students with their schoolwork and the development of self esteem and self-confidence. This is done in a caring way where Christian ideals are valued and encouraged. The curriculum is similar to those offered in any regular High School. However the College has a special focus in that it provides opportunities for students who have experienced difficulties with their schoolwork in earlier years.

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
