Position Information 

Sussex Inlet Public School is located in a small coastal town serving a predominantly low socio-economic community. Our school population has fluctuated over the last 5 yearsOur current enrollment is 244 - comprising 11 classes from Kindergarten to Year 6. We currently have 29 Aboriginal students enrolled (16%), and 18 Teaching staff and 8 Non Teaching staff.

Specific Selection Criteria 

1. Approval to teach infants and primary. Demonstrated skills in effective classroom practice with an emphasis on the integration of technology.


2. Demonstrated experience in creating a whole school data collection system and using student data to implement high quality differentiated teaching and learning programs.


3. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work flexibly as part of a collaborative team and build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.


4. Demonstrated experience to enrich student learning opportunities by running whole school sports programs and carnivals K-6.


An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
