Teacher Technology - Kyogle High School

Kyogle High School is a rural comprehensive high school located in the Northern Rivers. The school has a strong focus on student well-being and quality teaching. Current enrolment is 300 students, including 10% Aboriginal and 2% ESL students.  The school currently supports a multi-categorical class (MCC). Kyogle High School is part of the Kyogle Community of Schools. The school enjoys strong links with the partner primary schools, focussing on a Positive Behaviour for Learning and well-supported transition programs. The school works closely with the local community and has an active P&C. Kyogle High School receives significant equity funding which is allowing for the introduction of new programs and initiatives to boost student learning outcomes.

Approval to teacher Technology Mandatory (Stage 4) and Food Technology.
Approval to teach or preparedness to undertake VHF teacher training in Hospitality - Food and Beverage providing the qualification entry benchmark is met.

Evidence of effective classroom practice that includes the ability to cater for students with a diverse range of learning needs through differentiated curriculum, classroom management and integration of technology.

Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within the TAS faculty and across the school with a commitment to developing quality teaching and learning programs and resources that embed the school’s strategic directions. 

Well-developed interpersonal, communicative and organisational skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the community.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
