Position Information 

Nimbin Central School, located in the Northern Rivers of NSW (240 students, including 18% Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students) provides comprehensive, engaging and authentic opportunities to the young people of the Nimbin and surrounding valleys. Specific Selection Criteria 


Approval to teach Food Technology and Design and Technology, 

Demonstrated capacity to develop and implement innovative classroom practice and differentiate to meet the individual needs of a diverse range of students. 

Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community.

Proven capacity to work collaboratively with staff on whole school initiatives focused on continuous improvement and using data to inform practice

Demonstrated knowledge of, and commitment to, the Department’s Aboriginal educational policies.
