Teaching ServiceWyndham College is the senior campus of a multi campus collegiate situated in Sydney’s North-West. The campus caters for students with diverse learning needs with an enrolment of 850 students. Our school has strong ties to the local community and is highly regarded for the broad range of opportunities and social experiences offered to the students. It has an extensive curriculum with a strong focus on academic achievement, creative and performing arts and vocational education. The school has a commitment to the collegial development of quality teaching and learning programs for senior students, the integration of technology in teaching, wellbeing programs and student leadership. Approval to teach Industrial Technology - Timber (ITW). Approval to Teach Design and Technology (DAT). Approval to teach or willingness to undertake VET teacher training in Construction - General (VCG) providing the qualification entry benchmark is met.
Approval and/or willingness to teach Metal and Engineering (VEG). Capacity to engage students in quality learning.
Capacity to develop teaching and learning programs to fulfil curriculum requirements.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to achieve high level outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to integrate technology in teaching and learning.Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
