Due to further expansion across the Trust and an increase in student numbers, South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint inspirational, highly motivated and enthusiastic Teachers of Science to work at Cowley Academy in Donington. Successful candidates will teach across the age range, including examination groups.
This is an exciting opportunity for ECTs or experienced teachers to join a thriving and highly motivated Trust (all our ECTs are well supported by an excellent induction programme). Great career opportunities are available for the right candidate.
Successful candidates will have:
- Qualified teacher status;
- The ability to teach Science up to GCSE;

About Cowley Academy
Cowley Academy is an oversubscribed non-selective mixed 11-16 secondary school and joined South Lincolnshire Academies Trust in September 2022.
- The school has over 600 students with a pupil admission number (PAN) of 120.
- The school is performing ABOVE national average (based on a Progress 8 score of +0.08 in 2023).
- Cowley Academy is the top performing school locally in the Boston area (along with Giles Academy) and outperforms local grammar schools.
- The school has made incredible progress since joining the Trust in 2022. Cowley Academy currently has no Ofsted grading as a new school under the Trust (formerly The Thomas Cowley High School), but is set to emulate the success of our other schools.
