·        Teaching & Learning Assistant – C Grade – p/t Fixed Term Contract

 

We are looking to appoint a D Grade innovative temporary Teaching & Learning Assistant, supporting and delivering learning for KS3 Literacy. You will join our team of dedicated and committed professionals and will need to have an interest in working with young people and be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in this area.

 

Many of our Teaching & Learning Assistants have undertaken training opportunities provided and have gone on to careers in teaching.

 

The hours of work are 16.98 hours per week over 3 days 8.20am to 3.00pm, 47.15 weeks per year (term time only).

 

The salary scale for this post is LGA Scale 6 currently £27,852-£29,439 pa, full-time equivalent. The actual pro rata starting salary is £11,596.49 per annum (paid for 47.15 weeks per year). 

 

In addition to this role, we also have a C Grade Teaching & Learning Assistant vacancy working 2 days a week, 8.20am to 3.00pm again term time only. The salary for this post is LGA Scale 5 currently £24,948-£26,848 pa, full-time equivalent. The actual starting salary is £6,920.84 per annum (paid for 47.15 weeks per year).

 

There are also opportunities to increase your salary by running lunchtime and homework clubs.
