Teaching and Learning Assistant

Berger Primary School is seeking enthusiastic, committed and reflective individuals to join our team as a Teaching and Learning Assistant, based in EYFS.

Our EYFS team is currently developing and strengthening its provision, making this a particularly exciting time to join. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about early learning and want to contribute meaningfully to shaping outstanding practice.

Teaching and Learning Assistant (TaLA)

We are seeking an experienced Teaching and Learning Assistant who:

· Has previous experience working in a primary school setting

· Ideally has experience in EYFS and/or KS1

· Is confident supporting high-quality teaching and learning

· Can work with individuals and small groups to accelerate progress

· Understands the importance of early language development and phonics

· Has high expectations for behaviour and achievement

· Is proactive, reflective and able to use initiative

A Paediatric First Aid qualification would be desirable. However, for the right candidate, we are happy to provide training if required.

This role would suit someone who is passionate about early education and is ready to play a key role within a developing and ambitious team.
