TEACHING & LEARNING ASSISTANT for The Bridge -  C  GRADE  – Fixed Term Contract

We are looking to appoint a C Grade innovative temporary Teaching & Learning Assistant to undertake a varied and interesting role from September 2019 until 31st August 2020. The main focus of the role will be to provide support to students at our on-site learning Centre.  Students are withdrawn from mainstream learning for a set amount of time and partake in various interventions to help them succeed at School and access all learning opportunities.

The hours of work are 27.5 hours per week, 46 weeks per year pro rata.  This equates to 5.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.25am to 2.50pm (term time only).

The salary scale for this post is LGA Scale 5 currently £21,589-£23,836 full-time equivalent.  The pro rata salary range is £14,256-£15,793 per annum.  The actual starting salary for the successful candidate will be £14,256 per annum.  There are also opportunities to increase your salary by running lunchtime and homework clubs.
