We are a Church of England Voluntary Aided School providing education for children aged between 4 and 11 years. We are situated in the heart of West Hampstead in a beautiful Victorian school which was built in 1845.

We at Emmanuel believe that school should be a happy and rewarding experience where children can fulfil their potential in all areas of the curriculum. We attach great importance to the development of self-confidence andself-discipline and seek to enable children to build good relationships based on mutual respect and appreciation. Emmanuel School’s ethos is very positive, reflecting the care and commitment of the staff and children. To quote one of our pupils ‘I love Emmanuel because we are like a family, everyone knows everyone else in the whole school and we take care of each other’.
