Teaching and Learning Consultant – Catholic Education Office

Applications are invited for the position of Teaching and Learning Consultant.  This is a full-time position commencing 21 January 2019 on a 5 year contract.

Travel throughout the diocese will be required as part of this role.  Due to the travel requirement, 5 weeks annual leave is available to the successful applicant.

The Teaching and Learning Consultant is to provide quality service to educational communities in the Diocese of Rockhampton by:

• providing support and leadership in teaching and learning
• working as a member of the Curriculum Support Team to support the development of the Diocesan vision for curriculum in Catholic schools
• provide support, expertise and advice for specific projects
• assist with the planning and implementation of the strategic vision.

Proven expertise in literacy development and data analysis is an advantage.
