We are looking to appoint a team of inspirational and forward thinking Teaching and Learning Leads who will play a vital role in developing our teaching and learning as we embark on the next phase of our journey. We are proud of our robust academic and pastoral ethos and are looking to take the impact of our work to even higher levels so that what Drayton Manor offers the education system will become ever more distinctive.


The successful candidate will be expected to lead by example, stay abreast of the latest developments in pedagogy and challenge us to deliver the very best teaching and learning for our students. They will prepare and oversee the implementation of developments across the school, train and guide colleagues and undertake educational research. They will also develop links with other schools to share best practice and to enable us to draw on the experience of other schools.


The successful candidate will be expected to teach English throughout the school across the age and ability range up to and including A Level.

About Drayton Manor High School

Drayton Manor High School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in London serving students between the ages of 11-19. The secondary school, situated in Ealing as approximately 1,566 students on record. 

Formerly Drayton Manor Grammar School, Drayton Manor High School was established in 1930, changing to a comprehensive status in 1975. The secondary school converted to academy status in 2012 and was identified as outstanding by Ofsted in the same year.
