Brookmead School - Job Advertisement Teaching and Learning Support Assistant (1:1) Initially temporary with the possibility of permanent for the right candidate 

 

Brookmead School is looking to appoint someone who has significant experience of working as a qualified teaching and learning support assistant with children who have additional needs.

What can you offer? • A love of working in a school and with primary aged children • Previous experience of working on a 1:1 basis with children who have special educational needs • Experience of implementing learning support plans with children who have special educational needs • Experience of working with children with communication and interaction difficulties • The ability to ‘think on your feet’ when working with children • You work well as part of a team • A good sense of humour! 

 

Start date: as soon as possible Contract:  term time only (+ 5 INSET DAYS)           

 

Salary: £9,629.23 - £10.01 per hour) (22-hour contract National Joint Council (POINT 5) to be reviewed annually)
