About the Position

Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time, Term Time Only

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 12:30/1:30 pm

Salary: Commensurate on Experience

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and managing a caring, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assisting our pupils to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and on their own by, for example: clarifying and explaining instructions.
  • Assisting in weaker areas, e.g., speech and language, reading, spelling, numeracy, handwriting/presentation etc.
  • Maintaining good order and discipline among the pupils, safeguarding their health and safety.
  • Organising and managing groups or individuals ensuring differentiation of learning needs, reflecting all abilities.
  • Part of this role will involve safeguarding responsibilities including the reporting of any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Team


About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience of working with or caring for children of primary school age
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator
  • The ability to be flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic
  • A willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities and other aspects of school life.
