Post: Teaching Assistant

Location: Goosewell Primary Academy, Plymouth. PL9 9HD

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade C £19,312 rising to a maximum of £20,092 per annum; pro rata for Part Time contract

Contract Type: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) until 31st August 2022, part time; term-time.

Hours: 32.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

We are seeking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant or Graduate aspiring to become a class teacher to work within a school setting.  We are looking for candidates that are hardworking, dedicated, and enthusiastic about children’s achievement.

Goosewell Primary Academy is a successful, highly regarded three-form entry primary academy with a PAN of 630. The Academy was inspected in December 2019 and received a Good rating: ‘Pupils thrive at Goosewell Primary Academy. They enjoy learning and making friends. Many pupils told inspectors that the school was very friendly and that pupils were kind and well behaved. Pupils learn about the importance of acting respectfully and with  empathy for others throughout the curriculum.

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education.  We operate 14 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset and Wiltshire.  We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles.
