In partnership with Gen2 training provider, John Ruskin School has the opportunity for a Level  3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our staff team. We are a small, forward-thinking secondary school in the heart of the Lake District. The successful candidate will undertake a range of varied tasks to support teaching and learning in the classroom, working with individuals or small groups of  students in KS3 and KS4, under the supervision of teachers/senior staff.

As well as gaining valuable work experience during your 18 months apprenticeship, you will work towards nationally recognised qualifications and the potential for future employment as a Teaching Assistant. This position is suitable for anyone aged 16 years or older; you may have worked in a previous career and be looking to re-train, or be a more recent school leaver.
