Job overview

We require an experienced and motivated Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor for Curriculum Enrichment (specialising in Sports) to join the team at our expanding academy.

About West Thornton Primary Academy

Serving around 600 pupils, West Thornton Primary Academy is a co-educational primary school in Croydon, South London. Founded in 1896, the school provides places for children aged 4-11 and became an academy in 2011. 

West Thornton Primary Academy is part of The Synaptic Trust, a multi-academy trust founded in 2013. The trust is responsible for the running of six local schools at mainly primary level. Owing to its location, West Thornton Primary Academy has a large and diverse catchment area.
