Teaching Assistants 1-2 & Midday Supervisor

Pro-rata and Term Time Only

30 hours per week as follows:

TA1-2 25 hours per week

PLUS Midday Supervisor responsibilities 5 hours per week

Pro-rata salary starting from £12,595 p.a.

Cuckmere House, based in Seaford, is part of the SABDEN Multi AcademyTrust and is an 'Outstanding' all-boys SEMH Special school. The main responsibility of the post will be to support teachers in the delivery of the curriculum, both by directly working with pupils and assisting in preparation of resources. We are seeking to appoint a number of Teaching Assistants into our primary department; applicants should be innovative, enthusiastic, flexible, have an interest and knowledge of child development and an understanding of child protection procedures. They will act as a role model for our pupils and will model expected behaviours at all times.  Applicants should be able to demonstrate a sensitive and empathic approach to working with young males.

If successful, you will become part of a very committed and hardworking team. While some experience of working with vulnerable young people is preferable it is not essential.  We will provide you with high quality training and support.
