We need you to be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Being a Teaching Assistant takes patience and commitment but working with autistic children and young people gives so much in return.

You may have a personal connection, a desire to work with or real life experiences working with autistic people. You might not have lots of experience yet, but if you share our values and are willing to make a difference to the lives of autistic people, we’d love to hear from you.

We offer an induction programme, continuing learning and development opportunities, annual appraisals and the support you need to develop a career in education. 

We are looking for Teaching Assistants in Robert Ogden School in Thurnscoe, South Yorkshire, S63 0BG. You’ll be working with autistic children and young people in a school/community environment. We have permanent vacancies.

You will possess GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C) or equivalent. Experience of working within a School setting is desirable.
