We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic classroom Teaching Assistant committed to developing pupil potential, who has high standards and the ability to challenge all children. You will be a strong team player who will contribute to the wider life of the school, have excellent communication skills and be able to work positively with children, parents and staff.

Christ Church is a popular, over-subscribed school set in attractive surroundings in Lesney Park. We have dedicated and supportive staff, committed to our school and to raising standards.  Our pupils are well-behaved, and are keen to learn - in fact; they are a pleasure to teach.

Our school is an exciting place to be! We received the 'leading aspect award' for our part in the writing and implementing of a fantastic new curriculum 'The Creative Learning Journey', so we are particularly keen to employ people who are creative, and enjoy a challenge!

The school is a member of the Trinitas Academy Trust, a collaboration of one secondary school and five primary schools. All the schools are working together in close partnership in order to provide the best opportunities for Children and Staff alike.

Trinitas Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and other employment checks.

Trinitas Academy Trust is committed to equality and diversity in employment practice and service delivery.

This post is considered to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers.  The school therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the person specification. These will be applied during the recruitment/selection and probationary stages.
