Oak Academy is a rapidly improving school, providing quality first teaching and learning to approximately 900 students, including 120 in our growing Sixth Form.
We have undergone significant changes since the arrival of new Leadership in summer 2016, supported by our HMI Visit in November which recognised that “an impressive start has been made in our drive to improve standards.”
We are now looking to appoint like-minded, outstanding colleagues who are key to the continued growth and development of our school.
Teaching Assistant 37 hours per week Term Time plus 2 weeks
Salary Scale: Level 3 points 7 – 9 (FTE £16,481 - £17,169 pro rata for Term Time)

About Oak Academy
Oak Academy is an 11-16 academy, part of Ambitions Academy Trust since 2017, which is perfectly placed within the community to deliver high quality teaching and learning. We are a rapidly improving academy with a new principal in post since May 2022, who works proudly alongside both established and newly appointed colleagues, driven by the shared belief that every student has the right to learn, grow and achieve. It is this ethos that motivates all members of our community in improving the academic outcomes and life-chances of students.
