Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. 

Vision for Education are working with a school in North Bristol to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, to start in May 2021. Working a part-time temporary basis, the school welcomes applications from those with experience working in Education or Youth Settings and with a level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.

The role

The school are looking for a creative and hardworking Teaching Assistant, ideally with experience of working with Key Stage 2 children. Supporting the class teacher to maintain a fun and engaging learning environment, this a varied role that will include full class support, small group interventions and occasional 1-to-1 work as required.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Have experience working in Key Stage 2   

• Hold a minimum Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

• Have excellent behaviour management skills

• Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
