We are looking for two enthusiastic and lively teaching assistants with a minimum of BSL Level 3 to work with pupils who have physical and communication difficulties.  This particular role involves the support of an individual with hearing impairment.

The role involves support in the classroom and a high level of physical work and personal care of pupils.  Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given.  We have new purpose designed buildings co-located with mainstream settings and we need a teaching assistant to work within our school and during inclusion links to support individual pupils.  This post will be located at our secondary department.

All candidates must have English and Maths GCSE Grade C or equivalent and a minimum of BSL Level 3.  Successful short listed candidates will be asked to provide proof of qualifications at interview.  References will be requested during the shortlisting process, therefore it is imperative that candidates approach their referees in advance and provide up to date contact details.  We will not shortlist if we are unable to obtain references.
