If so, you might be just what we are looking for! We want to appoint ‘Teaching Assistants’ from April 2018 to join a strong and dedicated team of support staff in our SEN department.
Bushey Meads School provides education for the full ability range of children, including students with varying degrees of physical impairment. The successful candidates will have a varied range of responsibilities, including classroom, general welfare and attention to students’ physical needs. Bushey Meads School strives to ensure that individual needs, interests and abilities are recognised and met. There is more than one position available, working either 31.75 or 33.00 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks), term time + 1 week to include 5 INSET days. The posts are fixed term contracts until 31st August 2018 in the first instance. The salary is APT & C Point 14 plus London Fringe (currently £16,781p.a. + £840p.a.), paid pro rata for the hours worked. Please note: some of the posts available include personal care duties for students.

Applicants should be educated to post 16 level or above and have a high degree of common sense. Experience of working with young people is desirable but the willingness to undertake suitable training is essential.
