Parkside Federation Academies is a multi-academy trust which operates a group of secondary schools in Cambridge and an international sixth form, Parkside Sixth.

We have high expectations of all our students and aim to provide them with the best teaching and support that a dedicated staff can offer.  We are both demanding and liberal and want our students to develop into articulate and confident young people with clear personal and professional goals.

Our multi-academy trust is growing so we are looking for people to work with us who will share our commitment to excellence, innovation and collaboration.

We are seeking a teaching assistant to join our strong team. Teaching assistants support students learning both in the classroom and (occasionally) through withdrawal to work in other spaces such as the Learning Centre and the school’s ‘Engage’ facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work with young people, be an effective communicator and will be able to motivate young people to achieve their potential. A positive, can-do approach is a must too.

For more information about our federation and application details please visit our website, www.parksidefederation.org.uk and follow links to New Job Opportunities. Completed applications should be sent to the HR Manager, Parkside Federation Academies, Parkside, Cambridge, CB1 1EH or emailed to hr@parksidefederation.org.uk

Parkside Federation Academies is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is a regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check will be required.

We reserve the right to bring forward the closing date if we consider that we have received an appropriate number of suitable candidates for the post.
