The Koinonia Federation was formed in 2013 when St Mary Magdalene CofE All Through School joined with Christ Church CofE Primary School (East Greenwich). Our two schools work in collaboration, which helps us share our expertise in delivering quality education to the pupils of Royal Greenwich.
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant, initially to cover maternity leave at our Christ Church Primary Campus, SE10. Following this period of maternity cover, there will be an opportunity to continue as a Teaching Assistant within our federation of schools, either at Christ Church or at one of our St Mary Magdalene sites (Woolwich or Greenwich Peninsula).
We welcome applications from candidates who:
• Have NVQ Level 2 qualification (essential)
• Have a professional manner
• Are enthusiastic and have a friendly approach
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills
Alongside this role, there will be an opportunity to be part of the midday meal supervisory team if desired.

As this role will involve contact with children we will take up at least two references before interview asking about your suitability to work with children. Any job offer will be conditional on you having a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Criminal Records Check and Barred List Check, having the legal right to work in the UK and having satisfactory overseas criminal records checks if deemed necessary.

There are two St. Mary Magdalene primary sites: our Woolwich Campus has two forms of entry across the primary phase in all year groups; our Peninsula Campus has one Reception class on the Peninsula Site, one Year 1 classes, two Year 2 classes and one Year 3 class. The school expansion will result in a total of 840 primary places by 2020.
Christ Church CofE Primary School is a one-form entry primary school with 30 places available in each year group.
