A fantastic opportunity has arisen within South Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust for a Teaching Assistant at South Dartmoor Community College. The successful candidate will be adaptable and able to deal with challenges, energetic with a good sense of humour, and reliable. You will have good administrative and communication skills, and will have the ability to understand and implement strategies and necessary routines in order to establish high expectations of learning and behaviour. The role involves a degree of one to one support. Experience of working with young people with Autism would be an advantage.  

This is a temporary part time role, working 30 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks per year) at an hourly rate of £7.88 per hour. We would like you to start as soon as possible.
