Hours:             25 hours per week; 39 weeks per year               

Grade/SCP:  Band 3 SCP 6-9

Salary:             Full Time Equivalent £19,698 - £20,903, Actual £11,428.22-£12,127.33

Location:       St Joseph’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, Chesterfield Road, Matlock, DE4 3FT

Contract:       Fixed term to 31st August 2022

St Joseph’s, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, would like to appoint a friendly and committed teaching assistant to join the staff team . You should enjoy working with children and be available every weekday during term time.

This post will involve working within our Y3/4 class with a child currently in Year 4 with behavioural, social and emotional needs. This role is 5 mornings and 3 afternoons a week.

Previous experience of working with children is desirable. All candidates must be able to commit to upholding the ethos and values of a Catholic school.  The successful applicant will be expected to sign and abide by the terms and conditions of the Catholic Education Service (CES) contract.
