Job overview

Teaching Assistant (term time only)

Responsible to: SENCo

Are you a teaching assistant seeking a positive working environment for nurturing confident, capable children? At Vita et Pax Preparatory School, we value reflective practitioners who engage with their learning as much as our students do.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our supportive and committed team.

The successful candidate will be based as a 1-to-1 in pre-prep, but have the capability to work flexibly across the whole school when required. They must be able to develop excellent relationships with staff, students and their parents to fully support academic and personal development.

This is an excellent opportunity for suitably qualified candidates who are looking to build on their existing skills in a supportive environment. It is also suitable for graduates thinking about entering into teaching and wishing to gain school-based experience.

Applicants seeking to work part time should indicate their availability for consideration.

Interviews will take place on receipt of suitable applications, so early submission is recommended.
