Job overview

We are looking for someone who can:

● Work as part of the staff team at the direction of the Class Teacher to support teaching provision and pupils' learning - preparing and organising resources, and working to lesson plans and pupil needs.

● Work as a strong team player in providing and maintaining a safe, encouraging learning environment for young children.

● Under the guidance of the Class Teacher, to work with individuals and groups of pupils in class, including those pupils with additional educational needs, to help them to achieve to the best of their ability.

● Demonstrate resourcefulness and positive behaviour management throughout.

● Liaise with parents, members of staff and pupils at a personable but professional level.

The Head teacher and Directors at Rosemary Works Primary School would like to appoint an experienced full time Lower School Teaching Assistant who is looking for a role that is refreshingly different and as education in primary schools should be. In addition, the successful candidate will work alongside colleagues in our After-School Club four days per week during term time, and work in our Play Scheme (same hours) during term and half-term breaks. There will also be the opportunity of working with Early Years and Key Stage One during their weekly Forest School sessions.

● A salary of £11  p/h which will be reviewed according to performance and experience;
