Smart Teachers is recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a well-established independent prep school in Hampstead, North London. This Teaching Assistant role will include working with Year 2 class in small groups, and on a one to one basis. The role will also include accompanying the children to games and PE lessons so an interest in sporting activities would be beneficial. The school benefits from a strong community and parents are encouraged to be actively involved in their children’s learning. Starting September 2019, this is a permanent role.

In order to be considered for this role, the Teaching Assistant will need to meet the following criteria:
• Proven classroom based experience in either a nursery or school setting with the curriculum
• NQTs and/or OS-trained candidates are welcome to apply
• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
