Norfolk House is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our team for September 2022. Norfolk House School is a leading, co-educational, preparatory school and nursery in Muswell Hill, North London, for children aged 2-11.  The school takes great pride in our happy and warm environment, where each and every pupil is valued and nurtured. You may be an experienced T.A. or someone who is new to education, we are looking for the ability to connect with children and have excellent interpersonal skills.

We are seeking a T.A. who will:

Be committed to supporting children;

Enjoy working in a busy and fast-paced environment;

Work effectively as part of a team;

Have previous experience working in a school  (although this is not essential);

Have a keen interest in sport and physical education.

Ideally have a TA, HLTA, NVQ level 2 or 3 qualifications related to working with children (although this is not essential);

Be flexible, well organised and able to adapt to changing needs;

Have excellent verbal and written English

Hold a commitment to safeguarding and equalities

Our salary scale is in line with the outer London pay scale and we offer staff the opportunity to join the school’s attractive pension scheme. We also provide breakfast and lunch for the staff.
