We are looking to appoint an experienced and high calibre Teaching Assistant to work initially in a Y1 class, commencing at the beginning of the Autumn Term on 5th September.

Hacton Primary School is an outstanding school in all areas (OFSTED Dec. 2015). We have recently moved in to a brand new £10.5 million school. We are expanding to a 3 form entry, hence the need for this position. We are a very welcoming, extremely well resourced school, with a hardworking and committed team of staff and well behaved pupils who want to learn. We are looking for:

  • An experienced teaching assistant preferably with experience in KS1 or EYFS.
  • Qualified to NVQ3 level or equivalent and have at least Maths and Literacy GCSE at grade C or above.
  • An enthusiastic, highly committed and flexible individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Someone who is committed to working as a member of a team, and also shows initiative to work independently.
