Teaching Assistant

Our friendly Inclusion Team is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support students in the classroom, during break times and at the end of the school day. The right candidate will enjoy supporting individual students on a one-to-one basis as well as leading small group work and being part of the Team around the Child.  Opportunities exist to support children with autism and communication difficulties. The role is 30 hours per week but there may be some flexibility which can be discussed at interview.  The post is term time only (plus inset days).

Ashlyns is a popular and oversubscribed school. We became a full secondary school in September 2013 following the re-organisation of the education provision in Berkhamsted, and now have over 1,200 students. The school has undergone significant refurbishment in recent years with continuing improvements in progress as we prepare to expand to eight forms of entry in September 2017.
