Job overview

Vision for Education, (the supply arm of TES and leading educational recruitment specialists) are looking to recruit a lower key stage 1 Teaching Assistant on a full time basis. The role would involve offering full class support and working alongside a team of committed staff.

Person Specification:

  • Must be level 3 qualified or above in teaching and learning in schools or equivalent
  • Confident, with recent experience within Key Stage 1, and comfortable working with pupils on a group and 1:1 basis
  • Sound Year 1 curriculum knowledge, especially Literacy and Numeracy
  • Comfortable delivering intervention programmes
  • Capable of devising suitable education plans to support the pupil and ensure they are given every opportunity to reach their full potential is crucial
