Job overview

Outwood Grange Academies Trust

The Outwood Grange Academies Trust (OGAT) was born out of the success of Outwood Grange, a large school of 2,200 students which has achieved record exam results every year for the past 10 years, culminating in 84% including Maths & English.  Outwood Grange is an outstanding school recognised by Ofsted – achieving all Grade 1s – and was one of the first National Leader of Education Support Schools.

Outwood Primary Academy Littleworth Grange

Outwood Primary Academy Littleworth Grange has been awarded ‘Good’ status by Ofsted, which helps to evidence our pride on delivering a high standard of education within a safe, caring and positive environment, where, irrespective of their starting points, all children make progress and achieve their full potential.  We believe all children have a talent and children leave Outwood Primary Academy Littleworth Grange, with a clear sense of what that talent is and how they need to further develop that talent to succeed in the wider world.

This position consists of two roles. The TA position will be every morning supporting the class teacher in Maths and English. The HLTA position will be every afternoon covering PPA of class teachers.

In line with the Government’s announcement, our academy is closed until further notice. However, we are still busily planning ahead for the forthcoming academic year and are excited about welcoming new recruits to come and join us. In place of academy based interviews, we have set up systems to ensure that alternative options are still available via skype/video conferencing wherever possible. Every effort will be made to try and accommodate any specific requirements so that no-one is at a disadvantage. Understandably, visits to the school are not possible at present, however we are really keen to ensure that you have as much information to proceed with your application as possible, so if you would like a conversation about either the academy or the position please contact Debbie Bartholomew on d.bartholomew@outwood.com who will be happy to assist.

When completing your application, please give due regard to the attached Job Description and Person Specification. Please note that all of the essential criteria listed on the Person Specification will be used to shortlist candidates for interview. If you do not demonstrate and or/evidence that you meet all of the essential criteria, you will not be selected for interview.

For more information and to apply online, please go to: www.outwood.com > Careers.

Alternatively, contact Debbie Bartholomew, HR & Business Coordinator by email: d.bartholomew@outwood.com for a hard copy application form.

Closing date: Midday on 15 May 2020.

Interview date: w/c 18 May 2020.
