Salary Grade: Scale 4, spine point 18 to 21

Allowance: SEN allowance of £1,227 pro rata per annum

31 hours per week, Term Time

We are looking for three enthusiastic and lively teaching assistants to work within particular areas of focus. One should have a minimum of BSL Level 3 to work with pupils who have physical and communication difficulties. This particular role involves the support of an individual with hearing impairment. The other two roles will have a health focus, and work across either our primary or secondary department alongside our health teams, supporting the physical needs of our children and young people.

The role involves support in the classroom and a high level of physical work and personal care of pupils. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given. We have new purpose designed buildings co-located with mainstream settings.

All candidates must have English and Maths GCSE Grade C or equivalent and a minimum of BSL Level 3 (for the first post). Successful short listed candidates will be asked to provide proof of qualifications at interview.
