Exceptional support staff create exceptional results; they transform lives and transform futures.
They support every student to achieve their full potential and become a confident, aspirational and respectful individual who can make a positive contribution to society and our community.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and inspiring Teaching Assistant to work within the Learning Support Department at Colne Valley High School. Staff in the Learning Support Department work with students, parents and colleagues across the school to ensure that all young people at Colne Valley have the best learning environment to allow them to accelerate their learning and develop to their fullest potential.
Our staff have extensive experience of working with students with a wide variety of additional needs such as: dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and autism and training and CPD opportunities are always ongoing. We aim to offer support that is student-centered and flexible to meet individual needs such as in-class support, group work and bespoke interventions. Whilst a team teach qualification is not essential, it can be advantageous.
You will be working with a team whose mission it is to embed our values in everything we do.
If you are passionate and enthusiastic about helping children and can work with us to nurture their aspirations and dreams; enabling them to be the best they can be, then we would love to hear from you.
We look forward to hearing from you.
