Teaching Assistant L3 (MATERNITY COVER) Teaching Assistant Level 3; full time (32.5 hours) Grade 4 Point 17-22 £17,772 - £20,661 (pro-rata) Required from 1 January 2018
You will join a dedicated Learning Support Department providing support to students with a wide range of learning, behavioural and / or emotional or other special educational needs. You will be expected to work flexibly and sensitively with groups and individuals. You will be part of a strong team of professional education support staff making a vital contribution to the success of the School. We wish to appoint a colleague who:
• enjoys working with a wide range of young people and adults in a busy learning environment
• has a knowledge and understanding of young people from varied backgrounds and communities
• has excellent organisational skills and is reliable, efficient, flexible and adaptable
• has strong Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills
• has excellent inter-personal skills and can use initiative when necessary
• has relevant experience of successfully supporting the learning of young people of secondary school age
• wants to make a real contribution to the life of this school
