Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of four academies, Abbey Hill Academy, Westlands Academy, Hollis Academy and Green Gates Academy, serving a population of approximately 500 students aged 5 to 19 with a broad range of learning difficulties.

Green Gates Academy is situated in Elm Tree, Stockton and provides for up to 40 pupils aged 5 to 11 years who have SEMHD, as well as other learning difficulties. The posts require working with young people at KS1/2 who present challenging behavior. Previous experience of working with students with SEMHD is an essential requirement of this post.

We are seeking outstanding, creative and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join our team. The right candidates will need to be enthusiastic and inspirational with high expectations of our children and themselves.

Salary: £15,909.1 - £16,949.46 per annum
Benefits & Grade: Grade H
Contract Details: Required immediately, term time only + 5 PL days, permanent post
Contract Hours: 32.5 Hours per week
