We want all our young people to have the best chance of success in life. To make sure that’s the case, you’ll give them extra help when they’re in the classroom. The right support can really make an enormous difference. As a Teaching Assistant, you have to be understanding and committed. That’s because the young people in our schools have social, emotional, mental health and complex learning needs that call for extra dedication. Help them progress and you’ll have every opportunity to do the same with your career.

You’ll also need to be qualified to at least NVQ level 2 (or equivalent), but what we’re really looking for is the ability to connect. We need you to build great relationships with all our young people, so you can motivate them to do well and be the best that they can be. If you’re emotionally strong and good in a team, we can offer a role with exciting prospects. There are occasional meetings outside school hours, for which your attendance will be required.
