Rivington and Blackrod High School wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant with a track record of successfully working with young people, families and agencies ensuring that identified pupil(s) including those with Statements, are able to access the curriculum in the most effective way, appropriate to their needs and understanding across the Key Stages.

We are seeking to   appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Teaching Assistant to work in this large Secondary school which has recently converted to become an Academy.   You must have excellent literacy and numeracy skills, and successful experience of working with children of this age group

We are looking for someone who can: • help children achieve their best • relate well to children • actively engage in children’s learning • work as a member of a team and take responsibility • use their own initiative.
