Teaching Assistant - Level 1

Term Time only, including 5 Teacher Training days

Level 1D point 1 – 3 (£17,842 p.a. to £18,562 p.a. pro rata)

Stratton Upper School is a fully comprehensive school with talented students and committed, highly motivated staff.  We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant to be part of our vibrant and forward-thinking Trust.  

Teaching Assistants are required to support our students who have a variety of specific learning needs.  Suitable candidates would support within a classroom environment under the direction and guidance of a teacher.

The post would be ideal for, but not limited to, someone seeking to gain experience before beginning teacher training. 

You will benefit from:

• Weekly training sessions and staff meetings to ensure effective communication

• As a member of the CMAT Trust, there is potential to be promoted and/or work across a number of schools in a close geographical area
